The Green Screen Saga

13-year-old Isabella and 9-year-old Dante are adventuresome siblings with overactive imaginations, who retreat from the boringness of their day to day lives by escaping into make-believe and fantasy. The monotony of their oh-so-boring daily chores, family get-togethers, or sleep-inducing homework is explored in mundane detail... But our heroes also have the ability to instantly leap into a frenetic and exciting subplot in an alternate world. With a simple image search on their tablet, Isabella and Dante find themselves composited into a new environment every episode.

Episode 01: "Holy Cannoli"
When Isabella’s post-run reward—a delicious cannoli—goes missing, her younger brother Dante (a.k.a. the culprit) becomes the target of her frustration. But when their mom tasks Isabella with babysitting him for the evening, the siblings clash over Dante’s geography homework. To make the lesson more exciting, Isabella uses MIRI and a green screen-enhanced journey to whisk Dante around the globe using only their imaginations. From the streets of New York to the Eiffel Tower, their adventure teaches Dante about world landmarks, history, and ultimately, how to take responsibility. After a dramatic moment of panic when Dante seemingly vanishes, Isabella learns to appreciate her brother’s big heart. In the end, Dante redeems himself with a heartfelt (and pastry-filled) gesture, proving that even when siblings fight, they can always find their way back to each other—with imagination, forgiveness, and dessert.

Episode 02: "The Ancient Tomb of Nonno"
When Isabella and Dante are forced to give up a long-awaited TV binge to help their Nonno with spring cleaning, they brace for what they believe will be a torturous day—complete with dusty chores and terrifying encounters with Nonno's giant tortoises. To make the best of it, Isabella whisks Dante into a green screen adventure where they reimagine Nonno's attic as an ancient tomb full of forgotten relics. Alongside MIRI, they unearth puzzling artifacts like rotary phones and typewriters, all while navigating fears, laughs, and growing respect for their family’s past. Their quest leads them to the ultimate treasure: a box of old photo slides and a newfound appreciation for Nonno's adventurous younger years. By confronting their fears—both real and imagined—Isabella and Dante discover that some of life’s greatest adventures can be found right at home.

Episode 03: “The Curious Case of Mother’s Missing Keys”

When Mom loses her car keys on the night before a major work presentation, Isabella and Dante launch into action—transforming into imaginative detectives on a citywide case to crack the mystery. Using their trusty iPad and help from MIRI, the siblings recreate their mother's every step across a stylized green screen world of dark alleyways, foggy docks, and intense interrogations. As the investigation grows more elaborate (and hilarious), Dante begins to doubt his own sleuthing skills—until a flash of inspiration leads him to the fridge, where the truth is chilling. With teamwork, deduction, and heart, the kids solve the case, prove their smarts, and remind Mom just how much she means to them.

Episode 04: “Chore Wars”  

Dante and Isabella can hardly wait for their annual trip to the Carnival, but their excitement is crushed when Mom issues a surprise ultimatum: no rides, games, or funnel cake unless the house is spotless by noon. With only a few hours to clean their rooms, do the laundry, and tackle the dreaded bathroom, the siblings reimagine their chore list as an intergalactic battle—launching into a green screen fantasy world where cleaning becomes a high-stakes mission to save the galaxy. Armed with bravery, a Roomba named R2-Oomba, and help from MIRI, the kids learn the power of teamwork, time management, and facing fears (even vacuum cleaners). Just when defeat seems inevitable, Mom reveals a surprise twist of her own, and the duo earns their sweet reward—with a valuable lesson in responsibility along the way.
